Aleksandra Bezmenova
Artist practicing traditional Japanese and Chinese ink painting
In 2014-2017 she studied Japanese traditional ink painting (sumi-e, or suibokuga) under the supervision of Aleksandra Vasileva. Was given a personal stamp (alias) Sasei (沙西).

Since 2019 had been studying Chinese traditional ink painting (xieyi) under the supervision of Yulia Naumova, one of the first Chinese painting teachers in Russia.

During summer 2019 she took xieyi lessons from Li Fu Gui laoshi, who came to Russia from China.

Since 2021 has been studying Japanese calligraphy under the supervision of Kaory Ishijima sensei; became a member of Calligraphy Education Society (Japan), has 1-st dan degree in "kanji hanshi" style.

Since 2022 has been studying sumi-e at the International Sumi-e Association, Tokyo, Japan (distant learning).

Since 2021 she has been teaching sumi-e offline and online.
